Where does the time go?

My little baby girl is walking!!! The proof is right there in the video. She's been taking two steps here, three steps there, but now she's actually standing up by herself and just walking! It's so fun to see, but at the same time it makes me realize that she's really growing up, FAST!!! Her first year has absolutely flown by, I feel like it's a dream. I know that everybody always tells you your kids are going to be all grown up before you know it, but wow, I think I have finally realized the truth to that statement! It makes me want to slow down a little and just soak up every minute I can while they are all still young. Sometimes I get so caught up in the "instant, I want it now" attitude of life that I project it onto my children and then I miss out on all those precious moments of their lives. My best friend has a blog too, and she recently wrote about "time" and how she is going to enjoy the "time" she has to spend with her family. Well, me too! I'm going to slow down and just spend "time" with my family and enjoy the "time" that Hailey started walking, and the "time" that Jackson loves to read to me and the "time" that Ryan loves to play make believe. What a great "time" in my life it is right now!!!

Bathtub Fun!

Why is it that bathtub pictures are some of the best? Hailey and I had a little photo session in the tub the other day and the pictures of her naked little body are so cute! Is that wrong? I love them anyway and I hope you enjoy them too!

I'm an Auntie again!

Just a quick personal note, I'm an aunt again! My brother had a baby boy today around 6:15 pm. His name is Duncan Eugene (Jackson loves that they have the same middle name) and weighed 9lbs 1oz and was 21 1/4 inches! I can't wait to see pictures and meet him in person! Congratulations to my brother and sister-in-law!

Moving Day!

Moving day is coming! We found out the other day that we got the house we wanted to rent! Yipee! I'm so excited to move and the best part is our house has a POOL!! Yahoooooo! The kids are even more excited and keep asking if we can move right now! We told them we have to pack up everything in the house first, then we'll move next week. They are so funny. I guess all my worrying about the move being traumatic for them was in my head! Isn't it funny how we Mom's worry about things that end up being no big deal to everyone else!??! Anyway, what a good day. Hope everyone else is having a great weekend too!
